What is NAC?

NAC contains the amino acid N-acetylcysteine, often referred to as NAC in everyday language. N-acetylcysteine is a form of cysteine that occurs naturally in the body.

The body produces cysteine itself in the liver. It is found in hair, skin, and connective tissue. Cysteine, along with two other amino acids, glycine and glutamic acid, are also precursors to the tripeptide glutathione. Glutathione, in turn, is found in all cells of the body.

Production, like most of our products, takes place in Sweden.

Take 1 capsule twice a day with meals.
